We made a little trip to Utah for a baby shower on conference weekend and decided to have a little fun on the way down. We met up with my mom, Leslie & Corinne in Logan and then went on to Provo. On the way we stopped at Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake.

There was a new baby giraffe born that was just a few weeks old.
He was so cute

Poor Aunt Les gets really sick on rides, but I was a little too pregnant and was afraid I would be sick so she was a good sport and rode it anyway.

Everyone was scared of this giant statue of an elephant, it had a speaker in it, & after a few tears and laughs we finally got some pictures in front of it.

We had a great time on our girls trip. We were busy chasing kids so I missed quite a few pictures of the animals. But our favorites were definitely the baby giraffe, tigers, elephants & some huge gorillas.
