Thrashing Wheat

I remember being a little kid and loving to watch the "bumblebees" thrash grain on the dry farms between Teton Valley and Rexburg. They were huge yellow and black combines and they could harvest so fast. I guess now we have our own set of bumblebees only they are green. It has been fun to watch them harvest the wheat and with the new grain cart it has been moving fast.

Of course we had a few family rides. They are such big machines and it really is fun to watch the whole process. I love this time of year, and the harvest season, if only it lasted for a few weeks and not a few months!
