Totally Telford Trip

We had a quick camping trip a couple weeks ago. Bob remembers going on a few trips when he was little at the spur of a moment, and so we decided to follow suit. Bob had taken the kids to work with him for a few minutes and stopped in at 7:00 to let us know we were going camping. I had dinner in the oven, so we moved it to the fridge gathered up some hot dogs, chips, kool-aid and s'mores and went to the trolley by the river just a few miles from our house. We even had to borrow the scout tent, because our tent poles are missing from when we moved the last time. Bob had to work early in the morning, so we just stayed overnight and had breakfast at home. However crazy it seems, it was a great trip and a nice little break before school and harvest begins.

Dinner was in the dark, we played around on the trolley waiting for some others to leave, but found the perfect camping spot complete with a fire pit.

Sometimes the unplanned trips are the best!
